My Bio
An independent political candidate running for Washington States House of Representatives position in Legislative District 6, Aaron Croft has dedicated nearly 22 years of service to the United States, including combat leadership, foreign affairs, and work as a diplomat in a U.S. Embassy. His military career taught him the value of service, teamwork, and accountability — principles he now brings home to Eastern Washington.
​Aaron has deep local ties. He served at Fairchild Air Force Base and chose Spokane as the place to retire with his family. His wife grew up in Elk, WA, and both of their children pursued undergraduate degrees here in Eastern Washington. Their family’s roots run deep in the Inland Northwest.​
From the battlefield to the embassy table, Aaron’s experience translates directly to civilian service: putting people first, making tough decisions, and building bridges between people and communities. He is committed to serving Eastern Washington with the same integrity and courage that guided him through his military career. He’s an American just like you, fighting for an America for you!
My Key Issues
Housing
There's no denying that we have a housing crisis in this country, and we aren't escaping that problem here in Eastern Washington! Funding must be made available for construction, rent subsidies, rethinking zoning laws that weren't created around the ways we live.
Economic Development
For far too long our country does what it can to support big business deemed "too big to fail" while the true backbone of our country and communities takes a beating. Time to switch the narrative and support our people in their small businesses, and that will in turn prop up the big business.
Partisanship
Our country is being faced with the most severe partisanship since the Civil War. Our elected officials should focus on building bridges between each other, not spewing hateful rhetoric to get another media soundbite. As a state representative, I will always put the interest of every person in LD6 first & foremost regardless of political ideology, background, or income. You deserve to be heard and represented.
